Built in 2000 on the site of the old British Legion Hall and opened in November of the same year, Pembury Village Hall is a bright, modern building located in the High Street. It comprises a large hall with a stage at one end, a fully-equipped kitchen, a smaller meeting room and separate ladies, gents and disabled toilets.

The hall is a wonderful asset to the village of Pembury and its aim is to promote social cohesion within the village and surrounding areas through a variety of activities which currently include dancing (ballroom, ballet and tap), bridge, keep-fit, art and photography classes and amateur dramatics to name a few. The Board of Trustees is committed to maintaining the hall to a very high standard and constantly plan and review a programme of improvements and maintenance as well as overseeing the smooth running of the day-to-day business of the hall.

The generous proportions of the main hall make it an ideal location for parties, exhibitions, exercise classes and shows.   Adjacent to the hall is a large, fully equipped kitchen with a serving hatch which can also be a useful bar.

The meeting room offers a smaller, private function venue which comfortably seats up to 20 people and is ideal for business meetings, presentations and training courses. There is a sink and work surface for preparing light refreshments.

The car park and most areas of the building have level floor surfaces making access easy for those with mobility issues, the only exceptions being stairs to the stage area and green room.
